6220 - Tina Hall
I am very excited to serve as the District Governor of District 6220. I was born in California but raised in the Washington D.C. area where I went to college and graduated from University of Maryland with a M.S. and Ph.D. in Environmental Studies. I began a career with The Nature Conservancy in 1989 and have worked in three state programs for the organization focused on land acquisition, stewardship, and forestry. I had spoken many times to Rotary Clubs throughout my career and finally decided, when I moved to Michigan, to join a Rotary Club. I joined in 2001 and became President of my Club (Marquette Breakfast) in 2008-2009. I was an Assistant Governor for 5 years before beinn nominated for District Governor. Our youth programs are a passion of mine, and as a student I participated in RYLA. Interact, Rotaract and RYE are all programs with great promise. I am an active member of the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG) and I have been excited this year to see environmental sustainability become part of each of the Rotary Six Areas of Focus. I have joined the Rotary fellowship of birdwatching which reflects my favorite pastimes of birding, gardening, and active travel, which I share with my husband, Bruce.
6250 - Joe Ruskey
I am Joe Ruskey and I have the honor and privilege of being the District Governor for D6250. I have been a member of the Rotary Club of Prairie du Chien since 2003, where I served as President during the 2007-08 Rotary Year. That was one of the most amazing years in which I learned the intricacies of being a leader of leaders. I also learned that Rotary was so much more than what I had thought or imagined. I realized it was a global organization with 1.2 million friends backing my ideas to help change my community in my own back yard and across the globe. Rotary has enabled me to carry out my beliefs that we are here to serve others. My wife, Tina, and I have made the 4 way test a part of our family life, our business life, and our spiritual life. Rotary is not just an organization that we belong to, but a way of life.
6270 - Jeff Reed
Born in Oconto and raised in Wisconsin, I moved away, then returned to Fond du Lac in 1998, to serve at Marian University. I have worked in higher education and worked in industry both as a consultant and for Xerox Corporation. Fond du Lac Morning Rotary Club became a part of my life in 2000, following my father and brother into Rotary. With a passion for international activities, I have visited Rotary projects in Irkutsk, Russia and Lima, Peru, and traveled to Tokyo, Japan, parts of Europe and taught college in the U.K. I have served my club in many roles, including president in 2009-10, secretary and vocational service chair. District 6270 service has included work as assistant governor, membership, and strategic planning. Strengthening clubs, public image and humanitarian service are all important to me – we need to continue on the road to elimination of polio, to engage the next generations, and to Make a Difference. Travel, music, theatre, gardening, my wife Sylvia and son Daniel fill my spare time.
A Collaboration of Rotary Districts 6220, 6250 and 6270 Tri-Con 2018, the multi-district Rotary conference for the entire state of Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and the very best parts of Minnesota too!
