Join Interact students from across Districts 6250, 6220, and 6270 for an amazing half day of learning, networking, and having fun at the Wilderness Resort and Convention Center! On Saturday May 5th students will be able to meet other young people who are interested in raising their communities up, and having their voices heard. Special breakout sessions will take place throughout the morning that address important social issues and service opportunities. Every breakout session was designed by, and will be presented by, Interact students throughout Wisconsin.
We will also hear powerful experiences from exchange students throughout the three districts and the impact that Youth Exchange has had on each of our panel speakers. Rotary’s collegiate program known as Rotaract will also have a breakout session where we’ll hear about the opportunities and experience gained by members currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
The day will end with our main lunch speaker, Ina Pinkney sharing her experience as a survivor of Polio. This important keynote will help our young people connect to the power of a disease that many of them have no concern of thanks to the work of Rotary International, in eradicating Polio from all but three countries on the planet.
